Sewn With Threads of Gold

Fall has always been my favorite season for so many reasons.  And one of those is the beautiful colors.  The sky is the brightest, bluest, blue.  And the sun shines so bright against all the different colors of the foliage.  It just  appears as if it is shine down with threads of gold.  This card was created with that in mind.

The sewing machine is a cut from the Nifty Fifties cartridge.  I wound some metallic gold embroidery thread around the spool and then "threaded" the machine with the gold thread.

The two dress forms are from the French Manor and Nifty Fifties cartridges.  I cut the leaves from the Doodlecharms cartridge.  The paper I used to create the card is from K&Company, Glitz Pack, and  Recollections.  I added some gold gem leaves to the card for glitz and dimension. The ribbon is from My Craft Spot and it is topped with a gem brad from Recollections.

The stamp, "Sew Thoughtful" is from Scrappy Mom's Stamps.  And the inside of the card says,  "Autumn is sewn with threads of gold".

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you too will enjoy this beautiful season of colors.
