As not only a music lover, I have spent the majority of my life as a student of music. I have a BS in music education and a background in theater and dance. I teach kindergarten in a wonderful school in a great school district. We have an outstanding music teacher at our school. He is great with the children and provides them with a solid foundation in music education. I like to use the fine arts as much as possible in my classroom. As I tell the parents each year. Your child has two sides of a brain. I will teach to both sides of their brains. All research shows that children who are educated with the fine arts are better readers and have a better concept of math than those who are not.
Now off of my soapbox and back to the card. I made the card with paper from K&Company, AC Specialities, and Colorbok.
I used Quarter Note, one of my favorite cartridges, for the cuts. And I added some pink glitter glue, and bling. And then a pretty gold striped ribbon and bow.
Embrace the fine arts and add some more joy to your life.
