A Royal Celebration

Whimsical Wednesday Challenge Blog is having a Royal Celebration to honor William and Kate!  I will be getting up at 3:00 in the morning to begin watching the television coverage.  I will watch as much as possible before leaving for school.

Here is what I created using the TIE THE KNOT and ACHILD'S YEAR cartridges.
The papers I used are My Mind's Eye and DCWV.  I embossed the dress with my Cuttlebug and then did some dry embossing to it.  I added Stickles to the cake to make it even more yummy looking.  The sheer ribbon I used is from Hobby Lobby.  And lastly, I gave the crown a few rhinestones, because I do not have diamonds like the Queen of England.  LOL!  

Congratulations William and Kate!  I wish you a beautiful wedding and a happy long life together.

    Your card is lovely and I did toy with the idea of getting up, but I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow. LOLOL I remember Diana quite well and that makes me sad. I hope her son will have a better go for it!

    what beautiful detail with the cake and dress! The embossing was just perfect! This is a very pretty card... I really enjoyed it!
