Here a Chick, There a Chick

Hello Everyone!  It is time for another challenge at Cooking With Cricut.  and the challenge this week is all about EASTER.  For some reason this challenge took me a long time to decide what to do.  Well, I finally remembered that last year after Easter, I bought some fun stickers that I thought would be great to use on cards.  So I created my card around these stickers.

I cut the basket out of white card stock using the DOODLECHARMS cartridge.  I then inked it with  pastel pink and antique linen.  The eggs and grass are cut from EASTER 2010 cartridge.  I used polka paper from Recollections for the eggs.  And a green patterned paper from K&Co. for the grass.  The chocolate bunny was cut from GYPSY WANDERINGS with paper from my scraps.  I added a little Twine bow to the bunny.  The two mats to make the card are from Colorbok's Flea Market Collection.

As  I said earlier, I made this card with these cute little chick stickers that I got last year at Hobby Lobby when they were were about 75% off or something like that.  The little bow is made with some gingham ribbon from my stash.  And the sentiment I created on the computer.

I just could not resist the sentiment "Here a Chick, There a Chick, Everywhere a Chick, Chick" with all of those little chicks all over the card.  It just makes me laugh!

Please go and visit the Design Team members over at Cooking With Cricut and see all the wonderful EASTER projects.  There is an amazing variety of projects and they are all over the top gorgeous!  I hope you will join us by linking your EASTER project .  I look forward to seeing what you have created!
