I used papers from DCWV for my card. First I want to tell you about the doily and doily wing. These are new from Cherry Lynn Designs. I am in love with these because they are so pretty and the intricate cuts are amazing. When I first cut this doily out, I was prepared to have to punch out the little tiny holes. Well, was I ever surprised when I took it out of the die and it was cut perfectly. This die is called French Pastry. I used my Cuttlebug to cut the doily out. And everything worked like a dream. I inked the doily wing with rust and the doily with teal.
This is one of my favorite owl cuts. It is from the GIVE A HOOT cartridge. I did some inking with rust and mustard yellow. The little owl was embossed with a Sizix leaf folder. I added a couple of bronze gems for the eyes. I gave the branch a few gold flower gems. The leaf flourish is another cut from Cherry Lynn Designs. This is a large flourish with very detailed leaves.
The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs Owly Whoo stamp set. This is such a fun set of stamps and can be used in so many different ways. And this set has so many different fonts included. It just makes the sentiment fun to mix up the words with different fonts.
I finished my card by adding teal gems to upper-left and lower-right corners, and a pretty crinkle ribbon and bow.
I am so glad that you dropped by to see my blingy owl card. Remember to go and visit my other Design Team members and leave them some love. We invite you to link up your project with bling to Cooking With Cricut. Have a great day!!
