Warming Up with Hot Cocoa!!!

A big HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone!!  I hope this will be the best year ever for you!  Well, the holidays are over and it is Monday.  And Monday means it is time for a new challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog.  This week the challenge is "Warming Up With Cocoa".  Use chocolate, a cup, or even the color brown in the project.

I used the Christmas Cheer cartridge to cut the cup of cocoa.  The snowflake was cut with the Winter Lace cartridge.  All of the papers I used to create the card came from my stash.  They were all left over from previous projects.
The snowflake  border at the top of the page was cut with an EK border punch.  And the ribbon is one of my favorites.  I found it about a year ago at Hobby Lobby.  I love the diamond pattern of the ribbon.  It also has such a good body to it.  It holds its shape very well.

The sentiment is from a set of stamps called "Coffee and Tea Treats Tag Along"  from K Andrew Designs.  I added a few little ice blue pearls to the tag.

The mittens were cut from the Cricut Lite Jolly Holidays cartridge.  This is probably my very favorite mitten cut.  I just love the way the mittens have big cuffs.  And the layers of this cut are so nice.  I added  ice blue pearls to the mittens, just to add a little style.

Please visit the  Design Team at Fantabulous Cricut.  They have all created beautiful projects that will "warm you up" this week.  I do hope you will all join the challenge by linking up your "Warm Up With Hot Cocoa" project at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog.  I can't to see what you create.  And again, a big HAPPY NEW YEAR to you!!
