It Is Time For A Change

Hello everyone!!  I am excited today for a couple of reasons. The first is that it is Saturday.  I love the weekends so I will have a little more time at crafting.  And the second reason I am excited today is that it is we are having our very first challenge of the New Year at My Sheri Crafts.  And do we have a great challenge for you!  This week our theme is ITS IS TIME FOR A CHANGE.  This means to make a project with a clock on it.

I guess you could say that while moving forward into a new year, I am moving back in time with this RETRO look.  The paper is from October Afternoon  I embossed the aqua paper with a Tim Holtz pocket watch folder.  The large clock is a cut from French Manor, ( one of my very favorite Cricut cartridges).

The dress form and dress is from Nifty Fifties.  I just thought the retro papers were perfect with this cute fifties style dress.

I added some RicRac from my sewing stash.  The sentiment was created on the computer.

And I finished the card off with three little buttons.

Now, you have just got to go to My Sheri Crafts and see what the Design Team has created for this challenge.  The projects are all fabulous in so many ways.  Drop by their blogs and leave them some love!!  I know they would all really appreciate it.

Ok everyone, how about you "taking some time" to create your project for this challenge.  Just link it up over at My Sheri Crafts.  I am excited to see what you will create.  Have a great weekend!!

  14. I LOVE this card- the 'french' theme, the way the sentiment ties together the 'time' clocks and the pretty dressform. The embossing is so nice with it. Great job on your cartridge showcase as well!
