A Baby Shower

Tomorrow afternoon we are having a baby shower for a dear friend.  She teaches in the classroom next to mine and is about to become a grandmother.  So, those of us who have worked with her are having a party for her and her daughter.  IT'S A BOY!  So we are getting everything ready with lots of blue!  We have decorated the house with blue hydrangeas.  Hydrangeas just happen to be my favorite flower.

We have the cutest cupcakes with pretty little blue booties and rattles on them.  The best part about these cupcakes, is that they are sooooo yummy!  


The nursery is decorated in blue and brown with a transportation theme.  So my gift to Sharon, the mom to be is a set of crib sheets with cute little airplanes on them.  Here is the card I made to go with the sheets. 
The card base is from the Wild Card cartridge.  The circles are from 
George and Basic Shapes.  I used the Create a Critter cartridge for the moon, stars, and "Sweet Dreams" sentiment.  The cloud, I cut by hand.  I used the Cuttlebug to emboss the circle and cloud.  For a little extra bling, I used some gold glitter glue on the moon's cap and around the starts.  And to finish the card, I weaved and tied some sheer brown ribbon  around the card.

    I LOVE your card! I just found out that my sister is expecting her 4th child. I will need to throw her a baby shower since 5 months ago she donated all of her newborn stuff.
