Sophistocated Cards

Today I am participating in a cartridge showcase at My Paper Crfting.  The cartridge being showcased is Teressa Collins's Sophistocated.  It is a lovey collection of images, fonts, borders, and phrases.

I have four cards to share with you today.  Each of these have cuts from the Sophistocatred cartridge.

This is a little A2 card I made using papers from my stash.  They are inked with a little tea dyed lace from Tim Holtz.  The frame was actually cut and embossed with a Spellbinders die.  I topped it with this wonderful floral branch from the Sophistocated cartridge.

This too is an A2 card.  The papers are from a K&Co stack.  I used a Martha Stewart heart border punch and topped it with this wonderful bird border cut from the Sophistocated cartridge.  I just think it is perfect with the bird paper.

This little A2  begins with an embossed pale pink mat.  The pretty lock is from Sophistocated and is  made with  music paper from The Paper Studio.  It is shadowed with ecru paper and inked in pale pink.  The white keyhole is embossed with Swiss Dots and inked in gold.  I used some antique laces for soft texture.  And then added a pale pink crinkle ribbon with a gemmed brad.  The little gems are from Recollections and the "Hello" sentiment is fom an Inkadinkadoo stamp set.

Here is an A9 card.  All of the cuts on the card are from the Sophistocated.  I really enjoyed cutting the border in the three colors and layering them.  The chandelier is topped with a sheer bow and inked in brown.  The word "Friends" is also cut from the Sophistocated cartridge.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Please come back and visit soon.
