In the next few weeks I will be hosting a Bridal Shower along with some other friends for one of our very best friend's future daughter-in-law. Here is the invitation that was sent out to guests.
The base is 6.5 x 5. Iadded an embossed ivory mat that was inked around the edges with gold. The teapot was cut from the Ashlyn's Alphabet cartridge. The paper is K&Co. It is also inked in gold. I tied a little sheer ribbon to the teapot to dress it up. The tea bag, inked in gold is attached to the tea pot with beige embroidery floss. I typed the invited ont eh computer and then cut and embossed with a Spellbinder die. It too is inked in gold.
I was just so pleased with the results of the invitation. I just hope the bride loves it as much as I do.
Gorgeous! Love the wonderful details, Charlotte. The paper you used reminds me of the Willow China pattern my grandmother collected. The bride is sure to love it -- because it was created with love!
