This is Mike
As you all know my sweet little Ruby and I are in training to be a Pet Therapy
Team with HAND IN PAW. Well, one of the HAND IN PAW dogs, MIKE has been
nominated by The American Humane Association for the 2012 Hero Dog Awards. This
is a big event and will be held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in October.

Mike was a feature story last night on the local news. Here is the link for you to
see the story of MIKE. He was born deaf and rescued to a great home. The
breeder wanted to put him down due to him being deaf. He understands American
Sign Language and serves in several HAND IN PAW programs. The news story is
about his service to cancer patients at the Children's Hospital of Alabama. It
is a short news clip,but certainly worth watching.

There are several categories and MIKE has been nominated in the THERAPY DOG
CATEGORY. He could win or place there. He could also win the top award. So I
need you to VOTE FOR MIKE. The cash awards will go directly to HAND IN PAW.
HAND IN PAW is a non profit organization using pet therapy teams to help
