Guest Designer at She's a Sassy Lady

I am so excited today to back as a guest designer for my good friend, Sheila, at She's a Sassy Lady.  Sheila and I met this past summer when I won a challenge on her blog.  Amazingly we live and work just a few miles from each other.  How fun is that!

I made a folder frame card.  There is a very good tutorial on making folded frames HERE at splitcoaststampers.com.  I just love making these.  They are fun and sooooo easy to make.  Because we are expecting out first snow here in central Alabama tonight, I thought I would go with a snow motif for my card.

The folded frame reminds me of a quilt square.  And a quilt is sounding pretty good to me since the temperature has dropped dramatically today and it is raining/snowing right now outside.  The snowflake is  cut from the A Child's Year cartridge.  I ran it through the Xyron to get it sticky so I could add some of Martha Stewart's glitter to it.  I love the way it just gliste

The scalloped frame is cut from the Elegant Edges cartridge.  All paper used to make the card is from K&Co  I added a pale blue sheer glittered ribbon and bow to

And I finished the card with a label cut from the Lacey Labels cartridge stamped with the "Frosty Greetings" sentiment from  K Andrew Designs Winter Wishes stamp set.

Please go visit Kristal and check out all of her wonderful stamps HERE.  They are wonderful because they can be mixed and matched to create many different sentiments.  They are made here in the USA and a portion of the proceeds goes to charity.  Pretty good!!

Don't forget to go over to Sheila's blog at She's a Sassy Lady and see all of the amazing projects by some of the most talented people ever!!  You'll be glad you did.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you will com
